yes , your reasoning is correct but is a basic analysis.
When you face the tougher questions.
what you should follow is a systematic approach to the question to solve not only in less time but much more efficiently.
The price of the SuperPixel high definition television, by Lux Electronics, has typically been out of the range of most consumers, a few of whom nonetheless save up for the television.
basically, this statement is saying that the TVs are expensive because of their high-end type of production. However, consumers put aside money to buy in the future. Maybe they are a status symbol, after all.
This past July, the SuperPixel reduced its price by 40%, and sales during that month nearly tripled.
The TVs went discounted so the sales went up
TechWare, a popular electronics magazine, claims that the SuperPixel television should continue to see sales grow at this rate till the end of August.
A magazine is asserting that the sales will go very well till the end of August
Which of the following suggests that TechWare’s forecast is misguided?
A. Most of the customers who had been saving up for the SuperPixel bought the television in July.
This is what is clearly said in the stem. Good
B. Sales of the MegaPixel high definition television, an even more expensive model than the SuperPixel, saw declining sales in the month of July.
Another TV model is not of our interest at the moment.
C. Electronics sales tend to peak in August and December.
Not enough information to infer this
D. The SuperPixel tends to be an unreliable television and Lux Electronics makes a considerable profit from repairs.
The RMA is not our concern right now
E. The SuperPixel is the only model for which Lux Electronics plans a price reduction.
Not enough information from the stem to conclude this.
A is the answer.
Hope this helps
