The main idea here is that archetype and cliche are very similar if not the same. The third blank should be similar to cliche, because of the hint (- a stereotype - just like a cliche), seminal and refreshing don't make sense (it should follow the logic of something that is already manufactured). The first and second blank should be opposite to each other. The hint for the second blank is ..two distinct modes of production and two different moments of history, which suggests that there's some difference between the two concepts but only in some scenarios or context, so contextual is the best fit. Now, the first blank should be like general or not specific, hence generic is the best choice.
