In this question, we need to find the distance between a town with another.
Let’s denote the distance from A to B as AB.
The distance from B to D as BD, and so on….
Here, we observe that distance AB is same as BA, because they both show the distance
between town A and town B.
Since, order doesn’t make any difference here, we’ll apply combination.
To figure out the distance between two positions, we need two positions or we say two
towns.
We want to select 2 towns (who’s distance to be shown) from total 5 towns.
Number of ways to do that:
