Carcass, do we really get these type of questions. I was hoping to get more hints for converting inches to something nearly related to km or miles
rarely. I have never seen a question of conversion in the entire official material (powerprep plus included)
I do not think that a question like the following GMAT official question
Quote:
If the mass of 1 cubic centimeter of a certain substance is 7.3 grams, what is the mass, in kilograms, of 1 cubic meter of this substance? (1 cubic meter = 1,000,000 cubic centimeters; 1 kilogram = 1,000 grams)
(A) 0.0073
(B) 0.73
(C) 7.3
(D) 7,300
(E) 7,300,000
you see it on the GRE
Even of the GMAT are very rare.
The question above is there to improve your skills and because we never know. MAYBE could happen and you will be able to sort out such question. However, even if you face a question like this, a unit conversion to work with will provided. So no worries
