Just remember one thing: numbers that are equally spaced always have the same mean and median.

Saves a ton of time during the test.

Think about it this way.
The mean and median are equally spaced, like Yuan says. if you know that then there's no need to calculate, but if you forget this rule, keep in mind..

just line up 1,2,3,4,5
the mean of this set is 3 and so is the median

plug each of these numbers into the series 3m+3, and we have

6,9,12,15,18 the median is still the middle of the set (12), and so is the mean (12)

this simpler example is a decent reminder. the answer is C
