GIVEN: a, b, and c are POSITIVE EVEN integers, and c < b < a < 8
Since there are only 3 POSITIVE EVEN integers that are less than 8, it must be the case that c = 2, b = 4 and a = 6
We get:
QUANTITY A: The range of 6, 4, and 2
QUANTITY B: The average (arithmetic mean) of 6, 4, and 2
Calculate each quantity to get:
QUANTITY A: 4
QUANTITY B: 4

Maybe some confusion is coming from 0. Remember, 0 is not positive or negative and can't be included. Also be careful to read closely.
