This trick here is to remember that the solution of a square root can be positive or negative. Therefore, Quantity B could equal 900 (in which case the quantities are equal) or -900 (in which case A is greater). The relationship cannot be determined - D is the correct answer.

Value under the square root can be written as 30^4
√30^4 = 30^2
=900
