I think answer should be (D).Here is how I have solved this question:
We are given that x,y and z are positive integers and we are given an equation 3x+2y+z=42
We have following values of x,y and z that satisfy this equation:
LHS=3(12)+2(2)+(2)=42
RHS = 42
LHS=RHS => Quantity A : x+y+z = 16 < B : 18
LHS=3(10)+2(3)+(6)=42
RHS = 42
LHS=RHS => Quantity A : x+y+z = 19 > B : 18
So relationship cannot be determined from given info hence answer is (D)
