35% of the employees are men

35% of 100 is 35 men

Therefore, women are 65

Men who attended the meeting are 20% of 35=7

Women who attended the meeting are 40% of 65=26

men + women at the meeting are = 26+7=33

without further calculation, people who attended the meeting over the total are 33 over 100

So the answer is 33%
