Thanks Carcass for your reply. In question, it is not given that any angle is 90 degree. How can we assume that angle made by the sides of 2nd and 3rd square is 90 degree?

Sorry did not get you well..It would be great if you can explain more.. There is no information except the diagram. It can also be a equilateral triangle as the figures are not drawn to scale in GRE.

Even if was an equilateral this still apply to it.

Either way a bad question. It does not adhere to the GRE standards
