No \(a^{*}=1-a\)
so \(2^{*}=1-2=-1\) not \(2^{*}=2^{2-1}\)

Solution:

We don't have to solve Qty A completely to know the relationship between A & B

Qty A:((-1)*)*
Solving the bracket first: (-1)*=1-(-1)=1+1=2.
Now we need to solve (2)*

But since B has the same value, we know Qty A= Qty B

IMO C

DONT CALCULATE, JUST COMPARE A & B

Qty A:((-1)*)*
Solving the bracket first: (-1)*=1-(-1)=1+1=2.
Now we need to solve (2)*
Qty A:((-1)*)*
Solving the bracket first: (-1)*=1-(-1)=1+1=2.
Now we need to solve (2)*
