True sir.

However, using prime factorization and notice which fraction has a numerator greater than.the denominator,.it is doable.

Even though I don't think that neither on the gmat a question like this is fair

Let us take A and B

(7*2^3)/(3^3-7) , we can simplify this as 56/20 = 2.8

2^4/(1+2+3+4)= 16/10=1.6

So, A + B = 4.4, this does not falls between 1 and 2.

Let us take A and C.

We know that A is 2.8

C is (3/11)/(6/11) = 1/2=0.5
A +C = 3.3, it does not fall between 1 and 2.

D is (-2^3*3^2)/(2^2*5^2 )= -(8*9)/(4*25)= -0.72

A+D = 2.8 – 0.72 = 2.08, this does not fall between 1 and 2.

E is (-〖11〗^2-〖11〗^3)/(30*44) = (-121-1331)/1320= -1.1
A+ E = 2.8-1.1 = 1.7, this fall between 1 and 2.

may be its not a direct question , but kindly guide me for option E
I solve it as

-11^2-11^3/30*44

=-11^2(1+11)/30*4*11

=-11^2(12)/30*4*11

=-11^2(3)/30*11

=-11^2/10*11

121/110=1.1

kindly explain me where I'm doing it wrong
