I think you did misinterpret the question. The stem says

Which three of the following numbers NOT two you have take multiplication of.

You must multiply THREE of the 4 answer choices

That said, a shortcut is to compare the fraction in couples

\(\frac{-15}{17} = \frac{-17}{17} + \frac{2}{7} = -1 + \frac{2}{17}\)

\(-\frac{18}{19} = -\frac{19}{19} + \frac{1}{9} = -1 + \frac{1}{19}\)

Now, comparing the first and the second, disregarding -1 which is equal in both fractions, \(\frac{2}{17} > \frac{1}{19}\)

Doing this proces you will get the answer.

A key concept here is that ALL the answer choices are negative. However, you should notice at a glance that certain fractions are between -1 and zero. Others are less than -1. We care only of the latter

The main theme here is, if you use calculator to find the values by dividing each term, you will get like respectively: -15/17 = -8824; -18/19 = -.9474; 23/-22 = - 1.0455 ; 17/-16 = 1.0625; We know that, from -3, -2 , -1, -.8, -.5; the bigger value is -3< -2<-1<-.8<-.5 . So just eliminate 1st one. Have Fun.
