To convert speed in \(m/s\) to \(kmph\), multiply it with \(\frac{18}{5}\)
So the speed in \(kmph\) = \((20)(\frac{18}{5}) = 72\)
Now, we need to convert time into hours by dividing it with 60 [as, 1 minute = \(\frac{1}{60}\) hour]
So, Distance = Speed x Time
D = \(72\) x \(\frac{10}{60}\)
D = \(12 km\)

Hi,
We can first convert the second into minutes=20*60=1200 mtr per minute
Then as we need distance travelled in 10 mins and as the car can travel 1200 mtrs in 10 mins,
Thus, using distance formula D= S*T
1200*10=12000 mtrs in 10 mins
1000 mtrs=1 Km
Thus, 12000 Mtrs=12 kms.
