Let's say that the no of people polled =100
80% said that they will vote for P, they are 80 people
But of those 70% voted for P
So actual votes for P=70%(80)=56
20% of people will not vote for P, as they said in the pole, so they are 20 people
But 20% actually voted for P despite declining in the poll for P
So actual votes =20%(20)=4
Total votes for P=56+4=60 =60%
