(D); In order to find a function, draw a vertical line through any graph to see if there is more than one point of intersection, which makes it not a function. Only answer (D) has one intersection for each vertical line drawn, so it is the only function.

The correct answer is D.
The correct wording of the question is "A function is defined as the relationship where there is only one corresponding y value for each x value. Which of the following relationships below is a function?"
