Sir, I am getting answer as $60,000. The eqns I used:

(1.1)(1.2)w = 3/5(1.1)k --- (1) to get 2w=k ---- (2)
and k-w =30,000 --- (3). Pluggin in eqn 2 in eqn 3 to get w = 30,000 and k = 60,000.

To verify my answer, I plugged these values in the 1 and it checks out. Please correct me where I am going wrong.

The question is asking for the final salary of Kim i.e. after the increment of 10%, hence the salary would be:
60000*1.1=66000
