It is given that in a class, 60% students had leadership quality and 65% had good management skills. We need to find the difference between the maximum and the minimum probability of selecting a student who has none of the two skills mentioned above.
As 30% of the students had leadership quality and 65% has good management, hence, using the table method, we get;

Hence, the minimum number of students with none of the skills is 5.Then, the minimum probability of selecting a student who has none of the skills mentioned = # of favorable outcomes/Total outcomes


\(\frac{5}{100}=0.05\)

Now, the difference between the maximum and minimum probability of selecting a student who has none of the two skills mentioned = 0.35 – 0.05 = 0.30

Hence, the answer is B
