The labeled numbers are $\(-4,-3,0,1,2,3,4\)$ i.e. a total of 7 numbers, so the median of the labeled numbers is $\(4^{\text {th \)$ value i.e. 1
Now, the arithmetic mean of the labeled numbers is $\(\frac{(-4)+(-3)+0+1+2+3+4}{7}=\frac{3}{7}\)$
So, the value of the mean i.e. $\(\frac{3}{7}\)$ is $\(1-\frac{3}{7}=\frac{4}{7}\)$ less than the median $\((=1)\)$.
