Since the order in which we select each element does not matter, we can use combinations

We can select 3 elements from 7 elements in 7C3 ways

7C3 = (7)(6)(5)/(3)(2)(1) = 35

Answer: C

The video below features a quick way to mentally calculate combinations such as 7C3.
