Hi. I have received conditional admission to a MBA program but I need to provide a valid GRE or GMAT score.
The GMAT average of the last years class was 650 and the minimum GMAT score they look for is 550.
In contrast to the GMAT, the GRE requirements seemed far lower, which is why I chose to undertake the GRE instead.
The admissions committee requires at least 140Q 140V and have no interest in the writing section, so I can skip that.
Looking at percentiles - that seemed very attractive for the GRE over the GMAT.
I am very rusty in quant and my verbal skills are not that great in GRE standards.
I have been practising a lot on
Magoosh for the last week and have also undertaken the 2 Power Prep tests as well as a
Magoosh mock test.
GRE Power Prep 1: V 143 Q 142
Magoosh test: V 142. Q 151
GRE Power Prep 2: V 148 Q 144
These are my mock test results so far. I don't plan on taking more, as my actual exam is in 2 days.
My result summaries on
Magoosh are: 148-153 Math (216 questions done) and 139-144 Verbal (252 questions done)
I don't want to aim for anything unrealistic. But I want to be 100% sure to get over 140/140 in both Verbal and Quant.
What can I expect from these results to the actual test? I know results can vary +-5 but would you say I am pretty safe on getting at least 140/140 in the real test on saturday?
Kind regards, D
