Hello all,
I am fresh off the GMAT boat, looking to get a competitive score on the GRE to make some MBA application deadlines (the whole GMAT online whiteboard situation was not working for me)
I have been brushing up on my vocabulary for the last 7-10 days, supplementing that with some Quant drills from Manhattan's 5lbs book.
I took a Manhattan practice test today and scored 323 (Q164 - 1 wrong in the first section, 2 wrong in the second section) V159 (6 wrong in the first, 10 in the second).
I had a couple of questions for the GRE experts on this forum:
1. Is 164 realistic for only 3 incorrect answers? The scoring methodology in the ETS book for the paper exam puts 3 wrong questions at Q170
2. What is the best strategy for me to improve my vocab in the next few weeks to score ~330? What should I focus on? So far I've used Barron's essential words and
Magoosh's vocab app.
Thanks!
