Hi everyone,
I want to ask if anyone has any information about wearing hijabs (headscarf) to the exam. I read in ETS website that it is allowed as long as it does not cover the ears.
What if it does? Will they refuse to let me take the exam?

What if it does?It is simple, [ETS thinks] the test taker might hide any ear plugs/headset/Bluetooth device to get outside help. So they want to make sure the ear of the test taker remain visible. You can email them to clarify but i think they will be strict on their grounds. On possible solution is if at the test center a female certify by checking the bear ears and then allow the test taker to carry their headscarf. The best and the only way is to ping the ETS and clarify before you sit for exam otherwise you have to follow their stated rules.
Thank you and best of luck for your test.
