Method 1 :
Lets say on the first day, she travels 10 miles in 5 hours, (M = 10) and on the second day, she travels x miles in 11 hrs (1 + M = 1 + 10 = 11).
Thus, 10 miles in hours and x miles in 11 hours. On solving this, we get x = 22.
Substitute the value of M in the options and we see that option E gives us 22. Thus, E is correct.
Method 2:
On day 1, she travels M miles in 5 hours and on day two, she travels x miles in (1 + M) hours.
On cross multiplying, we get x = (M)(1+M)/5
X = M + M^2 / 5.
This is option E.
