Hi, I'm currently in my 3rd year of UG and planning to give GRE in 10 days. Assuming that I will get 315 (at least 160 in quants), what are my chances to get into top universities like UCLA, UC San Diego, and universities alike for MS IN CS program? Here is my extracurricular profile and qualifications.
-I worked as a summer intern in Zoho
-CGPA (as of the 6th semester) is 8.2
-Have won around 6 hackathons
-Have around 5 big projects, that literally qualify as final year projects, and several other small projects
-Have worked in ML, AI, Fullstack, and mobile computing
-Currently working on a Linux-based Operating system (like chrome OS and Steam OS) for my final year project (it is used for a very specific purpose).
-Have published a conference paper that is both IEEE Xplore and Scopus indexed
-Did several online courses
-Vice-chairperson of IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter
-Worked part-time in an IIM (a prestigious university in India) Startup
Hi There!
Although, I am not an admission consultant nor can I predict your chances to get into universities as every note: EVERY university has different prospects and selection criteria and a high GRE score is not always required if you have a decent overall profile. But, I would like to suggest you that rather than asking someone to predict your chances and getting a not so desired reply and getting demotivated even before applying, you can look for alums and their current profile, go to the homepage of the school check what is the class avg you'll find everything there. If you have a profile which matches you can think of decent chances of getting in considering all things go well.
The advantage of above research will be you'll know more about the school by getting a deeper insight.
Also, this is just a suggestion you can ignore this!
Hope this helps!
