x intercepts of parabola means where the curve meets the x axis
ie y=0
which gives
0 = 2x^2 - 8x - 90
= (2x + 10)(x - 9)
thus x = 9 and x = -5
ie y=0
which gives
0 = 2x^2 - 8x - 90
= (2x + 10)(x - 9)
thus x = 9 and x = -5
