Given: When 6 is multiplied by x, the result is the same as when x is added to 9.
We can rewrite this as: 6x = 9 + x
Subtract x from both sides of the equation: 5x = 9
Divide both sides of the equation by 5 to get: x = 9/5
Divide both sides of the equation by 3 to get: x/3 = 9/15
Simplify: x/3 = 3/5
Answer: B
