In any triangle, the larger the angle, the larger the side opposite this angle. Since \(m \angle B > m \angle C\), \(AC > AB\). This implies that Ac represents \(\frac{AB}{AC}\) is fraction less than 1.

I hope this helps

Carcass how did you conclude that B > C?

Dear Pravek

I fixed the question with the following caption. In one question the book reported it and in the other similar NOT

Triangle ABC is isosceles with base \(\overline{AC}\)

If the triangle is isosceles we do know that two sides are equal

Now, if the base is AC we know that angle A is 51 and angle C is 51 and angle B is 78

Therefore the longest side is AC which is greater than AB

\(AC > AB\)

From this the fraction \(\frac{AB}{AC}\) is less than 1.

B is the answer

PS: sorry for the inconvenience in the question. I am sorry
