Take: 12 – 3x < –18
Subtract 12 from both sides to get: –3x < –30
Divide both sides by -3 to get: x > 10 [since we divided both sides of the inequality by a NEGATIVE number, we REVERSED the direction of the inequality symbol (for more on this, see the video below)]
Answer: A

Given that 12 – 3x < –18 and we need to find the range of values of x which satisfy this
12 - 3x < -18
=> 3x > 12 + 18
=> 3x > 30
=> x > \(\frac{30}{3}\)
=> x > 10
So, Answer will be A
