Which one of the following equals the product of exactly two prime numbers?

(A) 11 ⋅ 6
(B) 13 ⋅ 22
(C) 14 ⋅ 23
(D) 17 ⋅ 21
(E) 13 ⋅ 23

(A) \(11 * 6\). 6 is NOT prime. ELIMINATE.

(B) \(13 * 22\). 22 is NOT prime. ELIMINATE.

(C) \(14 * 23\). 14 is NOT prime. ELIMINATE.

(D) \(17 * 21\). 21 is NOT prime. ELIMINATE.

(E) \(13 * 23\). 13 is prime and 23 is prime. So, this IS the product of two prime numbers.

Answer: E
