Now, values of p and q are given to us and we need to find value of p+q, let's rearrange both the equations given to us first
x – y = p
=> p = x – y
2x + 3y = q
=> q = 2x + 3y
=> p + q = x – y + 2x + 3y = 3x + 2y
So, answer will be E
