Let x = the length of the rectangle.
Given that its width is 85% of its length, the width = 0.75x
The formula for perimeter of a rectangle = 2 * (width + length)
Given that its perimeter is 280, we can set up the equation: 2 * (0.75x + x) = 280 and find that x = 80
Plug x back in to find that its length is 80 and its width is 60.
Using pythagorean theorem, width^2 + length^2 = diagonal^2
The length of its diagonal is 100.
