C. Health care service prices are on average 50 percent higher in the United States than in most European countries.

It just tells us a statistic that does not weaken the argument.

Instead B - if I know what food to consume, regulating thanks to the labels - then I can decrease my lipids and then less cardiovascular problems and then less hospitalizations and then decrease of the overall healthcare system costs
