This tells us that x is NEGATIVE and y+z is POSITIVE
So, we get:
Quantity A: (y+z)/x = POSITIVE/NEGATIVE

Simplify to get:

Does this help? Not really. We know that 0 < y+z, but we don't know anything about the individual values of y and z.
At this point, I might start TESTING VALUES
We need values that satisfy the given info: x < 0 < y+z
How about x = -1, y = 1 and z = 1. We get:
Quantity A: (1+1)/(-1) = -2
Quantity B: 1/1 = 1
Quantity B is greater.
So, the correct answer is either B or D.
Try some more values. How about x = -1, y = 5 and z = -1. We get:
Quantity A: (5 + -1)/-1 = -4
Quantity B: 5/-1 = -5
Quantity A is greater.
