Given the absolute value, we have to evaluate it for x >= 0 and for x <0.
If x >= 0, we get x+1 = x-1, 1 = -1 impossible
If x < 0, we get x+1 = 1-x, x= 0.
Thus, the answer is C

Thus, the above equation satisfy only when x = 0
