Re: x is a natural number [#permalink]
Is the answer C? Since X needs to be a natural number, the lowest value it can be is 0 which is the same as Quantity B.

It is B. Simplify the inequality it will be x<=-26
so 0 is bigger than -26
hence option B

But X is a natural number, so it cannot be negative. the answer is either 0 (if that is a natural number) or greater than 0.

Depending on the definition, "natural numbers" can include 0 or not, but they are never negative. Since Quantity B is 0, I think it's safe to assume 0 is considered a natural number in the context of this problem. The actual GRE would never leave room for this kind of misinterpretation btw.

Solve for x and you get x >/= -26. Since x is natural, the lowest value that satisfies the inequality is 0. Thus, the correct answer is C. Alternatively, if 0 is not considered natural the lowest value of x is 1 and the answer is A. Under no circumstances will the answer be B as the original poster indicates.
