Choose any odd no, take it as \(a\), so the next odd no will be \(a + 2\)

Qt A will be \(a(a+2)\)

I do agree with the comment that quantity A is not clearly stated and may cause confusion. I think it somehow needs to be defined a bit clearer in order to make a proper comparison with quantity B.

However if we equate the (first odd integer) in both quantity, then the next odd integer is always (first odd integer + 2)

Hence the answer is (C)
