Area of the square is \(s^2\), while its perimeter is \(4s\). Then, the side of a square is a positive number, thus we focus on numbers from 1 on.
If units in the perimeter (or in the area) means the dimension, then we can notice that for \(1\leq s\leq 2\), the area is greater than the perimeter, whereas for \(s\geq 3\) it is the other way, i.e. the perimeter is greater than the area.
Thus, I would say answer is D
