Let's test some possible values of x and y
case i: Since \(x>y>0\), one possible pair of values is \(x=5\) and \(y=4\)
We get:
Quantity A: \(4x = 4(5) = 20\)
Quantity B: \(5y = 5(4) = 20\)
In this case, the quantities are equal
case ii: Since \(x>y>0\), another possible pair of values is \(x=10\) and \(y=1\)
We get:
Quantity A: \(4x = 4(10) = 40\)
Quantity B: \(5y = 5(1) = 4\)
