Given that x = -y, quantity A becomes \(\frac{5.5y^2}{5}\). Then dividing both quantities by y^2, we remain to compare \(\frac{5.5}{5} = 1.1\) and \(\frac{3}{2.5} = 1.2\). Quantity B is indeed greater and answer is B.
