The key information here is that the polygon is inscribed in a circle.
This means all sides of the polygon are INSIDE the circle.
Consider this 12-sided polygon inscribed in a circle (the results here can be expanded to a 24-sided polygon).
Now consider points A and B.
We can see that the distance from A to B along the STRAIGHT line is shorter than the distance along the CURVE
So, we can say that the sum of all of the STRAIGHT lines must be shorter than the sum of the CURVED distances.
In other words, the perimeter of the polygon must be less than the sum of the circumference of the circle.
Answer: B
