In this question, there are only 3 options by which we can form 8 (1,7), (2,6), and last (3,5) and the total amount of cards that can be drawn or 4C1 * 5C1 so we have 3/20

A. 1/20 B. 1/10 C. 3/20 D. 2/16 E. 3/16
Bowl X = {1,2,3,4} Bowl Y = {5,6,7,8,9} Total number of ways cards can be drawn one from each Bowl = 4 * 5 and the number of ways sum = 8 is {(3,5), (2,6),(1,7)} \(P = \frac{3}{20}\)
Answer is C)
