This is a very nice question. You have to read carefully while attempting this kind of question.

So the passage says that the violence in Kirkenberg can be stopped if surrounding countries vote to send peace keeping force & Nandia must provide funding as it is a wealthy nation. IF Nandia take part in this then atleast half of the nation will oppose the intervention in Kirkenberg.

Now let's go to choices :

(A) Nandia is the wealthiest nation in the region surrounding Kirkenberg. We can't say for sure that it is the wealthiest nation.

(B) Violence in Kirkenberg is likely to result in unrest in other countries in the region. The passage says that atleast half of the countries will oppose but i does not mean that it will create unrest.

(C) It is unlikely that the violence in Kirkenberg will be stopped. This can happen as Nandia being a wealthy nation must provide funding but if Nandia involves itself then more than half country will oppose the intervention so violence may not stop.

(D) Most nations surrounding Kirkenberg oppose the current leadership in Nandia. Nowhere in the passage this is mentioned.

(E) The peacekeeping forces would not have sufficient equipment without financial support from Nandia. This can be true but Nandia's monetary help may be needed for something else rather than equipment purchase. It can be of anything.

We have to find an option that must be true based on the stated facts.

(A) Nandia is the wealthiest nation in the region surrounding Kirkenberg. - Incorrect. Out of scope.

(B) Violence in Kirkenberg is likely to result in unrest in other countries in the region. - Incorrect. Out of scope.

(C) It is unlikely that the violence in Kirkenberg will be stopped. - Correct. There are 2 requirements to stop the violence. But both the requirements cannot be fulfilled.

(D) Most nations surrounding Kirkenberg oppose the current leadership in India - Incorrect. Out of scope.

(E) The peacekeeping forces would not have sufficient equipment without financial support from Nandia - Incorrect. Out of scope.
