Look for the keywords here: "overly talkative". Some other clues are "euphemistically" and "privately".
So the parents found her "overly talkative", but they didn't want to tell her directly!
You need a word that has a negative connotation and most nearly means "overly talkative".
Garrulous means overly talkative, so leave that in.
Skittish means timid, so that doesn't work.
Solicitous means interested, concerned, or eager to please, so rule that one out.
Endearing has a positive connotation and means inspiring love, so that's out.
naïve means innocent or inexperienced, so rule that one out.
Answer: Garrulous
