This is a nice question. I got it wrong the first time.
The error I made was
Jane - now 32 years old
so was 22, ten years ago. Now the child was less than half of her age so child might be 11.
Now after 10 years, the child will be 21.
But this is incorrect.
Whenever she baby-sat for a child, that child was no more than half her age at the time.
We are asked to find the age of the OLDEST person, she could have babysat.
NOW,
When she started babysitting, she was 18 so the child would be 9years approx.
She babysat till she turned 22. So the same child would be 13 years old.
After 10 years, the child will be 23 years old.
