Hello everyone,
So I have a bit of an issue. All through grade school I was in special ed. After graduating HS I went to technical college and was able to transfer to a major UW without having to take the ACT/SAT. I did very well in my undergrad and decided to go to grad school. Because of my slight learning disability, and my test taking anxiety, I looked for a ms program where GRE was not required. I am about to graduate, and have once again done very well. The issue is that I hate the field I went into and want to get a MS/Ph.d in what I did my undergrad in. This means that I have to take the GRE. I am really freaking out, feeling overwhelmed, and discouraged about my future due to the GRE. I dont even know where to start with studying, and like I said I have never taken a standardized test, and I have not taken a math class for at least 9 years. My learning disability is in spelling and grammar, and I only went up to advanced algebra(I know I sound really unintelligent sorry). To apply for programs for next year I would need to take it by AUG/SEPT. Any advice/suggestions would be great.
Thanks in advance,
Eugenio
