I did not know that Italian Universities or Faculties need the GRE or GMAT score to attend the "Ateneo". Which one you are pointing out ? Milan Bicocca? The Statale University ?
It's really not a requirement, it's an additional option beside the "Ateneo" official tests. Anyway GMAT/GRE can be used for both Bocconi University (Milan) and Luiss University (Rome). I don't know about other italian Universities since the two mentioned above are the only ones I'm interested in.

Back to your question, the GRE is certainly easier than the GMAT
It's your answer based on the minimum scores (
145/145 - 550) percentiles or on the general tests difficulty?
I have two months of preparation ahead, and I have already studied 1 month for GMAT quant section, even though I would like to take the GRE test in few weeks, I feel like I can manage to get a minimum of 145 points for each section. I think I will take a better look at GRE Verbal section and eventually decide to go for it. Anyway, as you also suggested, I would approach the test as I would need an higher score.
Do you think that studying for GMAT (or GRE) Quant section does not prepare you
at all for GRE (or GMAT) Quant section? Same question for the Verbal section.
If you have other tips and suggestions feel free to address me to the best choice.
Thank you again!
