Since it SEEMS like we don't have enough information to determine which quantity is greater, I'm going to test some values...
case i: {a,b,c} = {1,1,1} and {w,x,y,z} = {1,1,1,1} (notice that the medians of the two sets are equal). We get: Quantity A: a+b+c = 1+1+1 = 3 Quantity B: x+y+z = 1+1+1 = 3 In this case, the two quantities are equal
case ii: {a,b,c} = {1,1,1} and {w,x,y,z} = {0,1,1,2} (notice that the medians of the two sets are equal). We get: Quantity A: a+b+c = 1+1+1 = 3 Quantity B: x+y+z = 1+1+2 = 4 In this case, Quantity B is greater
