Since the range is the largest value minus the smallest value these numbers have to be equal. If the largest and small values are equal than all values in the "middle" of the data set must also be equal. The sum of the values is 40 and there are 5 values; 40/5 = 8 for each point in the data set thus QA and QB are equal.

Given that Set J consists of 5 elements. The range of the numbers in set J is 0. The sum of the numbers in set J is 40. And we need to find the highest and the lowest element of the set.
The Range of the Set J is 0 and Set has 5 elements with Sun 40 => Highest Number = Lowest Number
Since highest and lowest numbers are the same so all the numbers in the set will be equal => Each Number * 5 = Sum => Each Number = \(\frac{Sum}{5}\) = \(\frac{40}{5}\) = 8
Clearly, Quantity A(8) = Quantity B(8)
So, Answer will be C. Hope it helps!
