Let's say total cards \(= x\)
Seventy percent of the cards in a deck are green and the rest are red.
Green cards \(= 0.7x\) & Red cards \(= 0.3x\)
Twenty percent of the green cards are rare and Fifty percent of the red cards are rare.
Rare green card \(= 0.2 * 0.7x = 0.14x\)
Rare red card \(= 0.5 * 0.3x = 0.15x\)
Total rare cards \(= 0.29x\)
\(29\)% of total cards are rare.
Answer 29%
